Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about private sessions, packages, or how we work together? You'll find answers below. If something isn't covered, reach out and let's talk.

How often should I book private sessions?

That depends on your goals and your schedule. Some clients come 2-3 times a week, others once a week. We can talk about what frequency makes sense for you when you reach out. The key is consistency, not perfection. I see faster results in clients who are consistent and come at least 2 times per week.

I've never done Pilates before. Can I still book a private session?

Absolutely. Private sessions are designed for every level, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. There's no pressure to keep up with a group or compare yourself to others. We'll build your foundation step by step, and you will leave understanding your body better than when you arrived.

What's the difference between a private session and a group class?

Private sessions are tailored entirely to you. We focus on your specific goals, your body, and what you need that day. Group classes offer community and energy, but they move at one pace. Private sessions move at yours.

Do I need to commit to a package, or can I book one session at a time?

Both options are available. You can book a single session, or commit to a package if you prefer the consistency and value.

Is Classical Pilates right for me?

Classical Pilates is designed to meet you where you are, no matter your experience level. Whether you're recovering from an injury, building strength, or deepening an existing practice, the method works with your body. Private sessions are tailored specifically to you, so we design around what serves your goals.

How is Classical Pilates different from other Pilates I've seen?

Classical Pilates follows Joseph Pilates' original order and principles, which means each exercise builds on the last in a specific sequence. This creates progression, balance, and stability in your practice. Other methods may use different approaches or music-driven choreography. Classical is precise, methodical, and designed to transform how your body moves and feels.

What should I wear to a session?

Wear comfortable, fitted clothing that lets you move freely. You will be barefoot, so no shoes needed. Avoid overly loose clothing that makes it hard to see your alignment.

Do I need to buy anything beforehand?

No. Everything you need for your session is at my home studio or yours. Just bring yourself and your intention.

What's your cancellation policy?

I ask for 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a session. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, the session will be charged. This keeps my schedule fair and ensures I can fill slots for other clients who are ready to book. Whilst supporting your commitment and progress.

If you arrive late, your session it will still end at the scheduled time to avoid impacting subsequent appointments.
