Having worked in a busy, stressful job in F&B I was drawn to yoga & Pilates to find peace and balance within my life. With 16 years in the industry, working long hours and with increasing demands that impacted my work life balance, practicing yoga & Pilates gave me positive physical and mental benefits as well as relieving stress.
After years of practice I decided I wanted to deepen my own knowledge and practice as well as change my career by taking my 200 hour YTT. My purpose is to share the benefits, joy and depth of clarity that yoga has brought into my everyday life with my community.
Always having a thirst for knowledge I also decided to expand my offerings by enrolling in a Mat Pilates Diploma with Active IQ. In my Pilates classes I like to focus on functional movement, reinforcing the importance of posture, strength and mobility.
I believe that yoga & Pilates should be accessible to everyone regardless of their ability, whether this is your first practice or you are an experienced yoga or Pilates practitioner. I recognise that each person is unique and aim to meet each student with where they are at this time in their life and practice, guiding and helping them to better connect to themselves and their surroundings.
